Phase II Grant

With the County of Aroostook and many other partners, we successfully completed our Phase II 319 implementation grant!

Agricultural Conservation

FOCL's Phase II Implementation Grant was completed in December 2025! 😊 This grant provided $105,344 in funding to seven watershed farmers to implement multispecies cover on 500 acres, single species cover on 535 acres, and winter cover on 265 acres (all NRCS Code 340) of cultivated cropland in the Daigle & Dickey Brook and Cross Lake watersheds.

This grant was completed in less than one year. The Phase II Workplan is available here and the Final Project Report is available here.

FOCL intends to apply for a Phase III grant when the request for applications next comes out in 2027.
